366bet Mines — every click raises the multiplier, and the risk
Mines is a fast-paced grid-based game where you open safe tiles one by one and decide yourself when to stop. This guide covers the round rules, settings, common mistakes, and how to avoid signal scams.
How a round works in Mines
The main canvas of Mines is a 5×5 grid — 25 tiles in total. Before the round starts, you decide how many mines to hide — typically 1 to 24. The more mines there are, the faster the multiplier grows after each safe tile is opened.
After placing your bet, click a tile. If there is a diamond (💎) underneath, the multiplier increases and you can move to the next tile. If a mine (💣) appears, the entire bet is lost. Press "Cash Out" at any moment to lock in your winnings at the current multiplier.
For example, if you place 3 mines and successfully open the first 5 tiles, the multiplier goes past roughly 2× — if you do not cash out at the right moment, the very next click could cost you everything.
Risk comparison by number of mines
| Number of mines | Safe tiles | Risk level | Multiplier growth speed |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | 23–24 | Low | Slow, but many clicks available |
| 3–5 | 20–22 | Medium | Noticeable increase per tile |
| 6–10 | 15–19 | High | Fast large multiplier, high risk |
| 11+ | 14 or fewer | Very High | Extreme multiplier, hard to survive |
Bet amount, auto cash-out and other controls
Bet Amount
Set a fixed amount before each round. Betting a small portion of your deposit balance lets you play for longer. The bet amount is multiplied directly by the potential winnings.
Auto Cash-Out
Cashes out automatically when a set multiplier is reached — for example, setting 2× or 3× locks in your winnings at that point. It reduces the risk of missing the moment to cash out.
Auto-Play
In auto-play mode, a set number of rounds play automatically. However, if you want to choose which tile to open each round, manual mode is more suitable.
Mine count selection
This is the most important setting before a round begins. Fewer mines = lower risk, slower multiplier. More mines = higher risk, faster multiplier. Once a round starts, this cannot be changed.
Stop Limit
Decide in advance — in your head or in the settings — how much you are willing to lose or win before stopping. 366bet's responsible gaming tools also let you set deposit and session limits.
Provably Fair Verification
At the end of each round, the game reveals a seed hash — the player can use it to independently verify the outcome. No third-party help is needed.
Why rounds are short and how stop limits help
A round of Mines ends in just a few seconds to one or two minutes. This speed is what sets it apart from slots or live casino table games — but for the same reason, many players do not notice how quickly several rounds have passed.
Many players in Dhaka who play Mines for the first time say, "I had no idea where an hour went." That is normal — so before you start a session, set a maximum loss limit and a time limit for yourself.
-
1
Set your own rule not to put more than 5%–10% of your total balance into a single session.
-
2
Decide how much you are willing to lose that day and only start a round once that limit is fixed in your mind.
-
3
Cash out as soon as you hit a good win — waiting and thinking "it might go a bit higher" almost always ends in losing everything.

How outcome transparency works in Mines
Mines typically runs on Provably Fair technology — meaning the result of every round is locked in advance with a cryptographic hash. At the end of the round, the server reveals the original data and the player can calculate whether the result matches that hash.
This system leaves no room for the mine positions to be arranged in advance or changed afterwards. A server-side seed and a client-side seed combine to produce a unique outcome for each round.
You do not need to know math or programming to understand this — simply matching the end-of-round hash is enough to confirm the result was determined in advance. This transparency gives Mines a level of verifiability that traditional table games do not have.
Scam apps and signals — why to avoid them
On YouTube, Facebook groups, and Telegram you often see — "Mines signal app", "prediction tool", "100% win guarantee." These are completely false. In a Provably Fair system, every round is generated independently — no app or bot can analyse previous rounds to predict the next mine positions.
These so-called "signal services" cause harm in three ways:
- Downloading fake tools installs malware on your device.
- Providing account details leads to them being stolen.
- They take a "subscription fee" and disappear.
Common mistakes new players make
Starting with too many mines
Starting as a new player with 10+ mines means there is a very high chance of losing on the first or second click.
Increasing bets to recover losses
Doubling your bet in the next round after a loss is the Martingale trap — it does not work in the long run.
Waiting instead of cashing out
Reaching a good multiplier and not cashing out means the very next tile could reveal a mine and wipe out the entire bet.
Playing while tired or under stress
Mines is fast-paced — fatigue reduces decision-making ability and makes it hard to stay focused during auto-play.
Mines vs slot games — what is the difference
In slot games, the result is determined automatically the moment the reels stop — the player has no opportunity to make a decision in between. In Mines, opening each tile is a separate decision. So in Mines, the judgement of "when to stop" stays in the player's hands.
Slots typically publish an RTP (Return to Player) as a fixed value and feature bonus rounds, free spins, and Megaways-style pay lines. Mines has no such bonus rounds — only manual or auto cash-out.
Mines is similar to Crash in many ways — rounds are short, decisions are quick, and results are instant. Slots carry background stories, themes, and special symbols; Mines has only the grid and numbers.
| Feature | Mines | Slots |
|---|---|---|
| Round length | A few seconds to minutes | A few seconds |
| In-round decisions | Yes (per tile) | No |
| Bonus rounds | None | Usually available |
| Risk level | Player decides | Determined within the game |
| Cash-out control | Full control | None |
Mines also shares similarities with Keno at 366bet — both are fast-paced and every round is independent. See the Keno page for more details.
